School Closures, Child marriage and COVID-19 in Zimbabwe

In celebration of international women's day, the MARCH-ZIM Project team held their first policy and practice webinar. This webinar explored the mental health consequences of child marriage, with an emphasis on COVID-19, school closures and their impacts on the lives of young women who have been affected by the practice.

The MARCH-ZIM webinar series is hosted by Women's University in Africa, and this first event began with presentations from the project team and importantly, young women who spoke about their strategies for survival through these difficult times.
